As we near the end of our fall sports season, we’re so proud of how hard our athletes have competed and improved throughout the year. This past week was a great one—two of our teams brought home wins, and we capped it all off with an amazing Homecoming celebration!
Boys Soccer
Our boys soccer team had a strong week on the field. They started off with an impressive 4–0 win over Fruitport Calvary Christian—Coach Russell believes this may be the first shutout since he began coaching at CTA!
On Homecoming Friday, the team faced Algoma Christian, the league leaders, and battled hard before falling 1–6. It’s been a season full of growth and effort—great job, boys!
Varsity Volleyball
Varsity volleyball kicked off the week with an exciting win against Fruitport Calvary Christian, taking the match 26–24, 25–13, and 6–15. On Homecoming Friday, they faced another tough league leader in Algoma Christian, falling in three sets to a very strong team. Despite the loss, our varsity girls continue to compete with heart and intensity each match—keep it up!
Middle School Volleyball
Our middle school volleyball team wrapped up their season this past week, finishing on a high note! They battled Fruitport Calvary Christian, dropping the first two sets (20–25, 12–25) before rallying back to win the final one 15–13. On Friday, they faced Algoma Christian, splitting the first two sets (13–25, 25–23) before coming just short in the last (10–15).
Coach Melissa shared how proud she was of their energy, teamwork, and focus throughout the final week. She said the girls showed “amazing team spirit” and stayed locked in all the way to the end. Congratulations on an awesome season, ladies!
