We’re on to the final week of the fall sports season! We are incredibly proud of all the hard work, effort, and growth our teams have shown over the past several weeks. It’s been an exciting season full of progress, teamwork, and Charger pride—and we can’t wait to see how our athletes finish strong!
Win or Go Home Week
This week is a big one for our fall sports teams—it’s win or go home time!
Our Boys Varsity Soccer Team will host West Michigan Academy of Environmental Sciences (WMAES) in a conference play-in game on Tuesday. The Chargers have earned victories in both previous matchups against WMAES this season, winning 3–2 and 4–1. However, our boys know they’ll need to come in ready to compete, as WMAES will be eager for revenge.
A win on Tuesday would advance CTA to face Algoma Christian on Thursday, with a chance to play in the Conference Championship Game on Saturday at Heritage Christian.
Our Girls Varsity Volleyball Team will also be in action this week. They’ll play a non-conference game on Tuesday before heading to Heritage Christian on Saturday to compete in the Conference Tournament. We’re excited to see them build on all their hard work this season and finish strong!
Week in Review
Boys Varsity Soccer
Our boys soccer team was the only group in action this past week, taking on Algoma Christian, who would go on to finish as conference champions. Although CTA fell in a tough loss, the team showed heart, effort, and determination from start to finish. Algoma proved to be a strong opponent, and our Chargers battled all the way through.
As we head into this final stretch, let’s show up loud and proud to support our Chargers! Thank you for continuing to demonstrate great sportsmanship and positive energy at every contest—it makes a difference for our athletes and our program.
